Random: Another Year

Well, it’s official, another year has pasted us by yet again.  So not all the world has crossed the midnight threshold, but for those of us who live in beautiful Queensland, Australia, the first new day is more than half over.

I have to admit that I am quite happy with the previous year.  The main blessing has been finding my partner, someone who has done more to bring joy to my life than I thought possible.   (I love you honey bunny boo!)  Aside from that I have made several new friends as well.

Of course there were downs as well.  Thinking I broke my foot comes to mind, lol.  Thankfully it wasn’t, it just got beaten up badly when I dropped a piece of timber on it.  😛  Despite some of the bumps that are inevitable, yet manageable, I have never felt so secure in the path my life is going.

However, don’t count on me making any New Year resolution!  I don’t really believe in them.  If you have goals, go for them, no matter what time of year it is.  😉
